Holding fast to tradition, St. Pius V Shrine was
founded by a group of dedicated laymen under the guidance of a devoted priest.
Their aim was to preserve the form of worship uniformly practiced by the Roman
Catholic Church prior to Vatican II.

Consistent with this primary purpose, they also
sought to foster and maintain all the doctrines and practices of the Church
throughout the centuries.
